After a strange season so far, Headington Ladies FC has come out of the lockdowns stronger than ever. Our players have been keeping busy and fit over the lockdowns with our team Strava, virtual training sessions and even some online quizzes. We have also appointed a new coach/manager, Chad, who's experienced in coaching Men's and Youth Football and helping us get back our footballing legs and feet! THIRD PLACE !!! Headington Ladies FC finished the division in 3rd place with an excellent 12 wins across the season and a goal difference of 41! We narrowly missed out on second place with 2 points between us and promotion, it all came down to the last game of the season and we were confident coming from 5 wins in a row but unfortunately it wasn't meant to be (this time!). We're incredibly proud of all our players who contributed to this fantastic season, particular mentions

Headington Ladies FC ended the season 5th in the Thames Valley Counties Women's Football League Division 3 West! After one of the strangest seasons and years we've all ever experienced, our love and enjoyment of football shone through. Sadly due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the 2019/20 season ended abruptly and it was deemed as null and void by the FA. Headington LFC would like to send our thoughts and thanks to all front-line workers, many of whom are past and present members of our team, and to all those who have been affected by the virus. Headington Ladies FC entered two teams into the 2018 OFA Women's Summer League in both divisions. All of our teams and players did fantastically, developing skills and fitness over the summer break. ​ After a nail-biting final fixture Headington Ladies beat their rivals to secure the Division 1 Summer League title!

A WIN for Headington! A fantastic team performance saw us come back from behind twice, thanks to CD and our Captain Freya, and we finally clinched the winner in the 91st minute by a peach of a goal from Carrie (welcome back!!).
