Season Review 21/22

THIRD PLACE !!!

Headington Ladies FC finished the division in 3rd place with an excellent 12 wins across the season and a goal difference of 41! We narrowly missed out on second place with 2 points between us and promotion, it all came down to the last game of the season and we were confident coming from 5 wins in a row but unfortunately it wasn't meant to be (this time!).

We're incredibly proud of all our players who contributed to this fantastic season, particular mentions to our captains, Claire and CD, our top goal scorer CD (17 goals in 18 matches!!) and the players with the most appearances - Lucy Reeves and Ella Hopkins. We would also like to thank our player-run committee for all their hard work for the 2021-22 season: Louise, Sarah, Catt, Lucy, Jemma, Malin, Claire and Kate. Not to mention our manager and coach, Chad, thank you for all your time, effort and expertise this season!

Onwards and upwards for 2022-23!!!!
